This high quality, weatherproof, quad element, digital motion sensor is designed to be configured with many of the lighting systems that we offer. It is a 12/24 volt PIR motion sensor, programmable with a fully adjustable detection from 8m to 29m (873 square metres). It has a coverage area of 70 degrees, 29m x 29m max. Its many features include customised optics, user/installer programming, temperature compensation, adjustable pulse count (sensitivity) settings etc. Features two, dual element (Quad) pyroelectric passive infra-red sensors (two pairs of sensors built in to one to help eliminate false detections). With the two dual element sensors working together, both sensors have to trigger at the same time, reducing the chance of false activations.

Output # 2 is a voltage free relay with timer, selectable normally open/closed, rated to 24v dc @ 50mA, relay timer period adjustable from 2 to 60 seconds.
Output # 3 is open collector negative switching, 25mA max, relay timer period is 400ms.
Output # 4 is open collector negative switching, 25mA max, relay timer period is +60 seconds, adjustable Lux settings from 2 Lux (dusk) to 24 hour (day).
Power input is 9 to 24v ac/dc.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter.
