FL09 Solar 'Multi-Purpose' 576 SMD/LED Floodlight / Sign Light System

This, heavy duty, commercial grade, multi-purpose floodlight system is made exclusively for Solar Illuminations. It's totally unique and it's not available anywhere else. This system comprises of 4 floodlights each containing 144 hyper-bright SMD type LED light bulbs which provide a light output equal to about 200 watts, per floodlight. Fully automatic activation (on at dusk). Illumination time is up to 12 hours (or typically dusk to dawn) in ideal conditions. The floodlights may be wall mounting or ground mounted. Supplied with a very powerful 120 watt solar panel to ensure maximum efficiency and optimum performance. The solar cell panel can be situated next to the floodlights or at some distance away. A metal battery box is supplied to facilitate the two, high capacity, sealed batteries which are recharged daily via the solar panel. While this system's ultimate design was for sign lighting and billboard lighting it has other purposes too. It can be used for lighting pathways, driveways, small car parks, riding arenas, public areas and for general convenience and security lighting. Great for commercial builidings or for use around industrial estates for area lighting or lorry loading bays. Can also be used to illuminate trees, uplight walls and highlight buildings or architectural features. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable such as in or around barns, outbuildings, sheds & stores etc. Use for animal and livestock areas to assist feeding and maintenance. Quick and easy permanent installation. Long support arms are available as an optional part (product code FL11) allowing the floodlight to be mounted way out in front of a sign or billboard for enhanced illumination coverage. As the solar panel can be located some distance away, this enables better sunlight capture when using the floodlights in shady areas. Each of these four solar floodlights incorporate a main light body consisting of 144 hyper-bright SMD/LED bulbs. That's a total of 576 hyper-bright SMD/LED's. Each floodlight offers angle/tilt adjustment with the attached U-shape support bracket. Each floodlight provides an output equal to that of about 200 watts of incandescent light. The SMD/LED's typically last for 22 years so there are no bulb changes to worry about. Each of these floodlights can light up an open area up to approximately 12 metres x 12 metres and beyond depending upon the mounting height of each floodlight. With four floodlights, correctly spaced, a reasonable sized area or a reasonably sized sign (such as a billboard) can be illuminated. Naturally, the darker the location the more effective and noticeable the illumination levels will be. Suitable for illuminating a medium to large sized signs depending upon the location of the floodlights and/or sign. Colour of floodlight is black. Colour of other parts of the system are grey. Colour of light output is white.

Two, high capacity 12 volt 65 Amp/Hr sealed lead acid batteries are required (not included).
Batteries must be connected together in series.
The battery box has a built-in photocell (light sensor) for automatic night time operation.
The battery box has a hinged lid which is lockable (padlock not included).
The battery box has an integral battery shelf and also houses the PCB controller.
Approx. 5 metres (17') of pre-wired connection cable is supplied and attached to the battery box for connection to the solar panel.
The battery box also has a socket for each floodlight to be connected.
High quality, aluminium framed, powerful 120 watt solar panel fitted with approximately 46cm (18") of cable with weatherproof connecter which connects directly to the battery box with approx. 5 metres (17') of cable.
A powerful 120 Watt solar panel is included which can be directly mounted if required.
Two special mounting frames are included to allow the solar panel to attach to a vertical or horizontal surface with two hole pre-drilled into each section of the frame.
The weather resistant floodlight has approx. 14.5 metres (48') of pre-wired cable which is pre-plugged ready for easy connection to the battery box.
All connections are simply plug & play.
The floodlights are weather rated to I.P 65. and is fitted with a U shape mounting bracket.
Black coloured finish of floodlight.
All other parts of the system have a grey coloured finish.
Normal operating range is -20 deg. C to + 60 deg. C.

The floodlights are each supplied with a U shape mounting bracket which will also allow for vertical adjustment of the light beam spread.
Floodlight bracket has 3 holes to allow fixing using screws or bolts (not included).
A long steel support arm is available as an optional extra (product code FL11) and, if purchased, enables (optional) attachment of the floodlights to a surface so that the illumination pattern cab be projected back (upwards or downwards) towards a surface such as a sign or billboard. For this system, if your require these long support arms, you would need to purchase 4 of them.
As this product has a wide variety of uses and can be used for many different applications, you may find it necessary to use other parts, that are not included, to aid installation for your particular situation. For example, you may wish to fix the floodlight or solar panel to a pole (we do not include a pole) and therefore you will need to provide the necessary adaption to enable fixing to a pole and the pole itself. Another example, you may wish to bolt the floodlight to the ground. You would then need a smooth level surface in place, such as concrete or a concrete slab. You will then need to fix the solar panel nearby and you may wish to make a bracket for the solar panel or some other device to enable its normal operation.
For less straight forward or unusual installations you may need to use your own fixings to accommodate the solar panel and/or the floodlight.
Each floodlight should provide illumination of an open area up to approx. 12 metres x 12 metres (40' x 40') and maybe beyond to the extent of a single 200 watt light output provides. With 4 floodlights you can extend your illumination area by up to four times.
Should be suitable for illuminating a sign (using all four floodlights) up to approximately 20 metres x 3 metres LxH (65' x 10') or maybe larger depending upon location of the floodlight and/or sign to the extent of what a 200 watts x 4, output can provide.
May be wall mounted, possibly fixed to a pole or post or possibly to the ground to a flat, firm surface.
For uplighting from the ground, for sign lighting or flag pole lighting, we recommend fixing to a small, short wooden post (not included).
Operates up to 12 hours, or more, during darkness, in ideal conditions.
Typically about 4-5 hours of full, direct sunshine daily is required to enable full charge.

The optional long floodlight support arm is available (at extra cost, see product code FL11) and is approx. 80cm (71") long and has a 4cm x 4cm (1.5" x 1.5") square profile.
The optional long support arm has a flat mounting plate (approx.13cm x 4cm (5" x 1.5")) allowing direct attachment to the U shape bracket of the floodlight.
Two U shape clamps are supplied with each long support arm to enable attachment to a surface. Each clamp needs a mounting footprint of approx. 9cm x 4cm (3.5" x 1.5").

Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being defective or define the product as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.

All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'.
Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'.
