These systems are therefore ideal in cases of emergency where there is no electricity such as after a storm. Great for remote huts without mains electricity and buildings that are off the mains grid. The kits are supplied with a super efficient LED light bulb, offering a nice bright, white colored light output. The kits are available in two choices. One kit is supplied with a 20w fold-up solar panel and for those requiring a more demanding system we offer our other kit which is supplied with a 50w fold-up solar panel. A cigarette light (car charger) style cord is included which allows charging and recharging of the unit from a vehicle, if required. Otherwise, the solar panel that is supplied with each kit will create enough solar energy to charge the system so that it is ready for use each night for many hours continuously. The kit is supplied with a cord and 6 different tips to allow a variety of different notebook computers to be powered. There is also a 110v AC socket so that the user can plug in standard electric devices (up to 100w max.). The compact, portable unit has a USB output socket for recharging most USB devices. A digital LED display informs the user of remaining battery power and also solar charging power. Colour of kit is black. Colour of light output is white.

Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc.
Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being defective or define the product as being advertised incorrectly.
We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours.

All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'.
Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'.
