This is a neat, attractive, compact solar recessed light is ideal for decorative lighting applications. It is completely self contained and provides a soft light output via two super bright LED's. The case aluminium body simply recesses into a deck, dock or soft ground. A 10cm (4") round opening is required for this fitting to drop right into place. The face surface is strong tempered glass and the outer face is fitted with a stainless steel fringe. Perfect for mounting within a solid surface (such as a patio, path or pool area), gravel path or driveway, pathway, wooden deck or dock. May also be suited to some light commercial and light industrial applications and can be used as a marker light. Installation is simple. This product will compliment your new decking project by adding some colour and lighting for night time use. Easy installation. For installation into concrete, brick, pavers or cement you will need to create an appropriately sized hole to drop the fixture down into place and then secure.
Most installers use a diamond core bit to drill an appropriately sized hole into an existing solid surface such as asphalt or concrete.
For installation into wet cement or wet concrete, you will need to create an appropriately sized recess for the fitting to drop down into once the cement or concrete is set solid.
Most installers use a short section of plastic pipe (of 10cm (4") diameter) to create an appropriately sized circular void into the wet cement or wet concrete, deep enough to accept the fitting.

Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'.
