This compact 45 LED sign light is a popular choice for customers looking to illuminate small to medium sized signs. Comes complete with a solar panel of your choice. Easy to install. Prices from £149.99.
This sign light fitting offers an output of 360 Lumens which is equivalent to approx. 75 Watts of incandescent lighting. It comes on automatically at dusk and can typically illuminate from dusk to dawn. The lampshade comes complete with a 'U' shape mounting bracket, an on/off switch (that when in the ‘on’ position allows automatic light activation), a built in Lithium battery, and a choice of either a 6, 7, or 10 Watt solar panel. The solar panel is also supplied with a 'U' shape mounting bracket. This lamp can up-light a sign up to about 2.5m x 2.5m. This product is very easy to install. We offer a choice of optional items that include a ground spike for the lamp unit (part FL01) and an extension cord for the solar panel (part RC01). We also offer hardware kits that enable the sign light or the solar panel to be mounted to a round post or pole (parts FL12 and FL13 respectively).
Ideal for small to medium sized signs.
Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable or too expensive or difficult to install.
Quick and easy permanent or temporary installation.
We offer a 6, 7, or 10 Watt solar panel with this product. The higher the wattage of the solar panel, the more likely you are to get the maximum illumination time which is typically dusk to dawn. A higher wattage panel does not extend the maximum amount of time the light will stay on for, and it will not make the light brighter. But it does make the daily recharging of the battery faster and more efficient. Higher wattage solar panels are also better for locations where there is limited sunshine. Select a lower wattage solar panel for applications where illumination duration is not critical or where the light will only be used upon demand or for less lengthy duration. Based on the weather and geographic location of the UK and Eire, we strongly recommend the highest wattage solar panel.
May provide illumination to a sign up to 2.5m x 2.5m.
Illumination time is typically dusk to dawn.

For attaching the solar panel directly to a round post or pole we recommend using our optional panel clamp kit product code FL13.
The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice. Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made.
