Description

This unique all-in-two lighting system is similar to the all-in-one style luminiares that we offer, but has the valuable feature of an adjustable solar panel. The solar panel can be properly orientated and angled based on the installation location. This integrated lighting system is available in three different models. The 15W version provides up to 2,700 Lumens, the 20W version up to 3,600 Lumens and the 30W version up to 5,400 Lumens. All options include four different operational modes which are selectable via a remote control. Two of the modes allow motion activation using an integral microwave sensor to detect activity within its range. This compact, easy to install LED area light is designed to be column mounted (typically 76mm diameter). Higher output 40W, 50W, 60W, 80W and 100W systems are available by special order. Several operation mode features.
Operational mode “Demo” (test) lighting is on for 1 minute.
Operational mode “On/Off” (manual use) allows lighting to be on or off as desired regardless of day or night.
Operational mode “L” (lighting mode) allows automatic on at dusk at 100% full power lighting for 1 hour, 70% power for 3 hours and then 20% power until dawn.
Operational mode “T” (timed mode) allows automatic on at dusk at 100% full power lighting for 2 hours, 70% power for 2 hours, 50% power for 2 hours and then off.
Operational mode “U” (timed and motion mode) allows automatic on at dusk at 100% full power for 2 hours, 70% for 2 hours, 50% for 2 hours then 20% until dawn unless motion is detected which reverts lighting to 50% until motion ceases.
Operational mode “M” (motion mode) allows automatic on at dusk at 30% lighting reverting to 100% full power when motion is detected and until motion ceases.
System is typically supplied with default operational mode “M” so adjust as required.
Microwave detector is usually superior than PIR motion detectors.|
Microwave detector senses exterior physical movement of objects such as people, vehicles etc. and should not be positioned where other movement sources could cause false activations (when using U or M operational modes).
Microwave detectors are not typically affected by wind, dust, temperature, humidity etc. like conventional PIR detectors.

Luminaire
Fitted with Type II optics as standard (typically for regular streets and walkway applications etc.).
Type III optics are available as an option (typically for general areas, car parks and wider streets etc.).
A microwave motion sensor is built into the fixture on all models (operational when motion detector modes are selected).
Motion sensor detection range (at ground level) is up to 15M (50') forward, up to 7.5M (25’) each side with up to a 90 degree angle.
The luminaire is fitted with multiple Bridgelux® LEDs which have a colour temperature of 6000k.
High luminous efficiency LEDs up to 210lm/w.
The 15W model provides 2,700 Lumens at full power.
The 20W model provides 3,600 Lumens at full power.
The 30W model provides 5,400 Lumens at full power.
A 40W, 50W, 60W, 80W and 100W version is available by special order.

That is equal to approximately 120 watts of incandescent lighting.
The small model can illuminate continuously for up to 24 hours in ambient mode or up to 12 hours in full brightness mode.
The medium model is fitted with multiple SMD/LEDs at 15w power and provides 1950 Lumens at full brightness and 650 Lumens in ambient mode.
That is equal to approximately 250 watts of incandescent lighting.
The medium model can illuminate continuously for up to 24 hours in ambient mode or up to 12 hours in full brightness mode.
The large model is fitted with multiple SMD/LEDs at 40w power and provides 5200 Lumens at full brightness and 1700 Lumens in ambient mode.
That is equal to approximately 500 watts of incandescent lighting.

Battery
All versions incorporate an internal high capacity Lithium (LiFePO4) battery pack which is pre-installed.
Battery lifespan is up to 8 years.
Battery is easily replaced when required.
The 15W version is fitted with a 192WH/15A-Hr 12.8v DC.
The 20W version is fitted with a 230.4WH/15A-Hr 12.8v DC.
The 30W version is fitted with a 268.8WH/15A-Hr 12.8v DC.
An integral MPPT charge controller is included and pre-installed.
The MPPT charge controller is up to 30% more efficient than standard PWM controllers.
The system has built-in charge control regulation with over-charge and discharge protection.
Hybrid (solar/grid tied) versions are available by special order.
Optional smart interface available allowing GPRS/3G/4G remote management and networking for operational monitoring, control adjustments, data analysis etc.

Solar Panel
Supplied with an aluminium framed monocrystalline silicon solar panel.
360 degree rotation and tilt capabilities.
The 15W model is fitted with a 50 Watt 18v DC solar panel.
The 20W model is fitted with a 60 Watt 18v DC solar panel.
The 30W model is fitted with a 70 Watt 18v DC solar panel.
The solar panel Wattage may be sized for the geographic location of the installation site and/or in accordance with the operational mode required.
Other solar panel Wattages are available by special order.

Installation
Suitable for column mounting only.
Column must be 60 to 76mm (2.5” to 3”) outside diameter (OD).
Other column diameters are acceptable with the use of a tenon (not included).
Easy to install onto a round column.
Fast installation time (typically 15 minutes or less).

Service / Maintenance
Service & maintenance is entirely at the risk of the customer and/or the customer's appointed servicer/maintainer.
Generally, Solar Illuminations, carries all necessary spare parts to allow the servicing and maintenance of this product for the foreseeable future.

Please Note: This product is a special order and is non-returnable except in the event of a fault (during its warranty period) when the product, once returned will be repaired or replaced.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
