The supplied 80W LED lamp is capable of producing 8000 Lumens and has a life span of 50,000 hours. The lamp head attaches to a support arm that fixes to the light column. The system is supplied with a metal lockable battery box, which mounts at the bottom of the pole. The battery box houses two 12V AGM Solar Rechargeable Batteries, which are not supplied but can be purchased separately. A MPPT charge control module is supplied which is also housed in the battery box. A total of 280 watts of solar panel is supplied with the kit, which mounts on the top of the pole and can be adjusted for maximum sun exposure. The system is controlled by an MPPT programmable control module which will activate the light at sunset and will run till dawn, or will stay illuminated until the set amount of time. The module can be set to run dusk to dawn or operate using one or two timer modes. It can run for a chosen number of hours after sunset (from 1 to 12 hours), or also switch on for a chosen amount of hours before dawn. Standard colour of light fitting is silver/grey. Custom paint colours and custom LED colours available by special order only. Standard colour of light output is white.

User or installer can set the control module to run from dusk and then shut off after a certain amount of hours. For example from dusk for 4 hours then switch off, or run from dusk for 6 hours then switch off.
The module can also be programmed to switch on at dusk for a chosen amount of hours then switch off, then switch back on a chosen number of hours before dawn.
Instructions are supplied should the user or installer need to program or re-program the module*.

The mounting system allows the solar panel(s) to be tilted to an appropriate angle determined by the geographic location of the installation site.
The solar panel(s) can be rotated (ideally to a southerly unobstructed view of the sky).
Connection wiring between the battery box, solar panel and lamp unit is included.

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
