Our solar 'High-Lite' street light is exclusive to Solar Illuminations. This shoe-box style system is renowned for it's high wind resistance, but additionally it's vandal resistant and highly durable stainless steel. Perfect for all kinds of applications.
This solar powered street light uses the latest LED technology to ensure optimum reliability and performance. It's all stainless steel construction sets it apart from all other solar street lights in its class. Illumination time is generally from dusk to dawn and is fully automated. The system can also be programmed to switch on at dusk and operate for a selected amount of hours. This system stores reserve power to allow for up to several days of cloudy weather. The 'shoe-box' style lampshade is fitted with 336 Cree® LED's which have a typical lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours (about 22 years). The 336 LED lamp provide approximately 2688 Lumens. The lampshade section attaches directly to the top of the pole. The 4 metre (13') pole has an integral base which can be bolted directly to a level, solid surface or with the anchor bolts supplied it can be set into a wet concrete footing. The rechargeable battery is housed within the lampshade. The 50w solar panel is built neatly into the top of the lampshade. Light output is equal to approximately 250w of conventional incandescent lighting. The lamp can be set to come on automatically at dusk and illumination until dawn or set to run for a chosen amount of hours each night (1-12 hours). All stainless steel construction and finish.
This solar powered street light is suitable for the illumination of small private roads, car parks, construction sites, pathways, loading bays, parks, public areas, communities and general open areas etc. It can be used for permanent or temporary applications.

For every 1 metre (3' 3") the Lux is 49, 32, 19, 13, 9 & 4 respectively.
At approximately 7 metres (23'), central to the pole, there is 4 Lux at the ground.
For every 1 metre (3' 3") the Lux is 50, 28, 12, 7, 4, 3 & 2 respectively, to the immediate left and immediate right side of the pole.
At approximately 7 metres (23'), to the direct left and direct right side of the pole, there is 2 Lux at the ground.

Service & maintenance is entirely at the risk of the customer and/or the customer's appointed servicer/maintainer.
Generally, Solar Illuminations, carries all necessary spare parts to allow the servicing and maintenance of this product for the foreseeable future.
Please Note: This product is a special order and is non-returnable except in the event of a fault (during its warranty period) when the product, once returned will be repaired or replaced.
The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
