BC13 Solar LED Bollard Light

This very popular solar bollard light fixture is made from extruded aluminium and fitted with a clear polycarbonate lamp shade. The light produced is around 200 lumens and is emitted via a circular array of twelve, high intensity, white coloured, Cree® LEDs within the lens section. In a dark location this bollard is capable of projecting light outwards and downwards for up to several meters diameter. Overall light visibility of up to 1Km. Available in a choice of two sizes, the 104cm high version, or the 84cm high version. Colour of light output is white. Colour of product is black (powder coated). Sold as a single unit. 

Applications

This solar powered bollard light is perfect for entrances, car parks, housing estates. footpaths, driveways and general outdoor spaces, etc. May be used in either a residential or commercial environment.

Performance
Automatically illuminates from dusk to dawn for most of the year, or up to 12 hours where location and conditions permit.

The clear lampshade section is approximately 18cm (7") diameter and 20cm (8") high.
The top section of the bollard is approximately 23cm (9") diameter.
The base section of the bollard is approximately 21.5cm (8.5") diameter.

Battery
Supplied with a pre-installed lithium battery.
3.7V DC, 2,600mAh, 9.62Wh.
The battery has a typical lifespan of up to several years.
The battery is easy replaced, when required (part number RB10).

Solar Panel
High quality, integrated 2.5W solar panel.
The solar panel is neatly set into the top section of the bollard fitting.

Installation
Easily installed onto almost any horizontal, solid surface such as concrete, tarmac, wood, paving etc.
Installation time is usually less than 5 minutes per bollard.
The base section of the bollard has 4 pre-drilled holes for screw-down or bolt-down installation.
A set of four, standard grade, steel, expanding anchor bolts are included along with a card template.
You may choose to use stainless steel expanding anchor bolts instead (not included).
The bolt pattern (diagonal centre to centre) is approximately 19cm (7.5").
Spacing is at the owner/installer's discretion. Ideally, anywhere from 3 meters (10') to 12 meters (40') apart (subject to any specific requirements).

The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time, insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’ or 'not fit for purpose'. All solar lights must be used in a dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge.
