This unique, commercial grade, solar powered bollard light fitting features a dual mode output and incorporates a PIR/motion detector. It will automatically operate at dusk. The installer or end user can selected from one of four desired operating modes using the remote control supplied. Easy to install almost anywhere.
This solar powered bollard light is a high quality, cast aluminium, vandal resistant fitting packed with features and unlike any other solar bollard on the market at this time. Standing 90cm tall and with a 11.5cm diameter main body. Some of its many features include a 1.2W LED lamp, offering 280 lumens using a total of 24 Cree® SMD3030 LEDs. Choice of warm white (3,000k) or daylight white (5,500k) LED colour temperature. There is a pre-installed, integral, large capacity LifePO4 lithium battery within and a 6.2W monocrystalline solar panel built into the top of this fitting, covered with a secure, high strength, polycarbonate cover. Weather resistant to IP65 and vandal/impact resistant to IK10. It also features an integral MPPT charge control system which enables the lighting to come on automatically at dusk. The installer or end-user can select from one of four different operating modes using the remote control that is supplied. Once a mode is selected it is stored in the memory. The PIR sensor can detect up to 4M with an approximate 300 degree angle. The discrete, flange mount base allows installation with security screws and there is a hidden on/off switch. In a dark location it’s capable of projecting light outwards and downwards in a diameter of up to several meters. This bollard light fitting is also Dark Skies Friendly (IDA Approved) thereby helping prevent light pollution. Colour of light output is white. Colour of product is black. Sold as a single unit.

Once an operating mode has been selected it is held in the memory.
Mode 1 - 100% output for 2hrs, then 30% output for 5hrs & 70% output upon motion detection, then 10~20% output until dawn & 40% output upon motion detection. This is the factory default mode.
Mode 2 - Automatically on at dusk at 25% output until dawn.
Mode 3 - Off at night with 100% output upon motion detection.
Mode 4 - On at dusk 25% output until dawn & 100% output upon motion detection.
Dusk to dawn operation is the factory default time.
The installer or end-user can reduce the nightly illumination time down to 12 hours or 4 hours instead.
Mode 4 is a more conservative operating mode and is therefore recommended for the UK and/or for less favourable geographic locations.
The PIR detector (motion sensor) has a range of up to approx. 8M (26’) and a detection angle up to 300 degrees.

The solar panel is neatly set into the top section of the bollard fitting and protected by clear polycarbonate.
Installation
Easily installed onto almost any horizontal, solid surface such as concrete, tarmac, wood, paving etc.
Installation time is usually less than 5 minutes per bollard.
The internal base section detaches from the main body of the board with special discrete security screws.
The base section has four pre-drilled holes for screw-down or bolt-down installation.
The bolt pattern is approx. 82mm.
The main body of the bollard attaches over the top of the base with a threaded and discrete security bolted connection so that it is complete hidden and inaccessible.
The upper (lampshade) section also has a threaded and discrete security bolted connection to the main body section.
Spacing is at the owner/installer's discretion. Ideally, anywhere from 3M (10') to 10 meters (33') apart (subject to any specific requirements).
The solar panel must receive maximum exposure and not be subjected to any shade or part shade.

This product is a special order. Strictly, non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-returnable except in the event of a genuine fault (during its warranty period) where a repair or replacement is provided as per our Returns Policy.
The solar panel must be installed in a location where it can receive full direct sunshine (when available) and set facing South at about a 45-60 degree angle (where adjustment options allow). The solar panel must not be installed in a shaded or part shaded location and never indoors. The standard specifications of the system (particularly the solar panel Wattage and battery capacity) may need to be adjusted. These components are determined by your geographic location, power consumption (LED Wattage) and the total amount of hours of illumination time required. Such changes to the standard specifications may increase or decrease the cost shown. Please contact us for more information or assistance. The illumination time is estimated and subject to various factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, seasons, temperature, weather conditions & location of product etc. The illumination time of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor, and the days are shorter. During this time, insolation hours decrease accordingly. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the product as being ‘defective’ or ‘not as described’ or 'not fit for purpose'. All solar lights must be used in a dark location at night-time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the product as being 'defective' or 'not as described'. Please note, if you do not install or use this product for several months the battery may discharge naturally on its own. By allowing a battery to deep discharge it may cause irreversible damage as the battery may then lose the ability to recharge or hold a full charge. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice.
